Windows 7

I'm in the process of installing Windows 7.

I beta tested Vista too.
The first build of Vista was buggier then hell but I'm using the Vista final build now with no problems. It just took some tweaking and getting used to.

I got a direct download from Microsoft, but for some stupid reason Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 is not recognizing the iso image(Says the installation disc has an error) or even it being burnt onto a dvd. There is nothing wrong with the iso as I tried it on Alcohol120% program and it pops up with the install no problem. I think what I need to do is install a Windows version first, then upgrade to Win 7. There is always something!!!

I found out what the problem was. I could not install it on the virtual PC without first having Windows Vista on it. Scrapped that idea. I have a Vista laptop that I am currently installing Win 7 on. So far, so good!

On Windows 7 now and I like it alot!!

Will be setting up windows 7 soon as I get the DVDs I ordered.
Things take time to get here.
We're so far out in the woods it takes sunlight an extra week to get to us.

I believe the fix for Windows was included in todays patches. Getting my DVDs tomorrow by special mule delivery so I will be able to check.
