Rush Concert

Colton and I went to see Rush in concert last night and the put on a damned good show! Geddy Lee blew me away on the bass guitar, and of course Neal Peart on his drums, he is one of the best! Alex Lifeson on guitar excellent as well! We had floor seats, and were up fairly close but not close enough for a free shirt that they were throwing out to the crowd. Geddy still can sing like anything, Neil had drums all around him,when he did a drum solo, the drums spun around and he had a different set with a different sound. They also don't use and pre-recorded stuff, have all the buttons and such right on stage. The light shows and video were top-notch as well! Rock on!!!

Glad to hear the concert was so good..Sure worth the drive in even after
working all day..How was the traffic?

Traffic near Surrey always sucks! So many people merging in to the highway. Ah, well, that is why we leave extra early!

They were in Regina last week and they put on a great show according to the write-up in the paper... I didn't go cuz I guess they were popular before my time..

It was a dream come true seeing my favourite drummer I heard most people after seeing him play give up on drums, which is so odd, it made me want to play harder.
