Do I get an e mail when someone adds to a post that I have started or posted in?

You automatically get an Email if someone posts in a thread you have posted in. Bottom right, I think, is the click to not get these emails.

They will also be listed in your Profile. You can manage them from there.

Some times it is convenient to have a conversation, nay banter, with someone. You'll be notified when they respond. That way you can go about your business and still keep track.

Again, Welcome. This is a FUN place. Most people just don't know how much.
