Annoying Construction work

They are doing construction in a big lot behind our apartment building..Big machines going all day & our apartment was
vibrating from the digging. & big machines...Very annoying feeling..Maybe feel it the most being on the bottom floor.
Did you feel it upstairs Shawna? Wonder what is going in that lot, quite a big one after it was all cleared out & the house
torn down?

Hmmm. If they were still digging after 3pm, then I did not feel any vibration from it. That sucks for you to have to go through it. I never realized it would affect the ground floor of the building. If they are re-developing in that area, it could be a long time before you get any peace from it.

I think they quit around 3PM with the digging, thank goodness.
But at it again today..Will see if I can feel it upstairs tomorrow when doing
the cleaning..

They don't have those annoying reversing beepers on the construction vehicles. do they? I hate those things - all you hear is beep... beep... beep all damn day (and sometimes night as well) when they're in our immediate area.

I know they're supposed to be to alert people (and especially children) who may be in the path of a reversing vehicle but, give me a break. We have a guy over the road from us who has a van with a beeper that makes enough noise for the entire street to hear when he's reversing out of his driveway. More annoying than barking dogs sometimes. Sheesh.
