Fire Alarm Going Off At 2:30AM!!!!

For some stupid reason, the fire alarm for our apartment building went off early this morning. False alarm, too. Had to go outside to wait for the firetruck, and when it came down our street, it passed right by, then had to back up. Too bad I didn't have my camera to record that!!! It seems that every time they do a test at our building, there is a false alarm that goes off within a week of that!!!

I hope you were able to get back to sleep for awhile this morning..
These false alarms are a real nuisance & they only send one fire truck as know that it is a false alarm..And it seems also soon after they do the fire
inspections, so they must be screwing something up..Boo to "Big Red"
Fire Inspection Company..I was sound asleep, Shayne & Colton were still
awake at that time, but still your poor kitties ears, must hurt as so loud.
So noisy a person couldn`t sleep through one anyways..
We sure do get our share of so called Fire Drills..
Hopefully there is never a real fire, as people get so used to these false ones, may decide to stay in & then be trapped, thinking it is not a fire..

That is the part I fear..when there is a real one, alot of us might not take it seriously, or at least wait awhile and casually go outside, like I did. Also the fire department might take awhile to respond, and that is the real scary part!

Oh, boy. That would have made me mad. Probably pretty cold there too at 2:30am even though its summer there. Just imagine if it had been windy and snowing at the time.
